Miranda Rae Mayo is an American actress and singer songwriter originally from Fresno, California. After high school graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her career full-time - and it didn't take long for Hollywood to take note.
Career
During her high school years, Miranda starred in the Disney Channel series, Liv and Maddie. Later, she would appear in various television and motion pictures including, Breakout Kings, Love Potion #9 and Intruders. Now, as an actress, Miranda has been in a number of independent films as well, including Fat Kid Rules the World, Sugar Mountain and Wishful Thinking. She can be seen on The Lizzie Bennet Diaries on The CW, as well as her voice work in the Disney Junior series Sofia The First. The Disney Channel also recently announced that she would be a part of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Writing Miranda is a novelist, but her dream is to be a writer of children's books.

Life after high school
Miranda Rae Mayo began to work at the legendary Hollywood Recording Studios as a studio assistant while performing at night at the Famous Dave's, The Snake Pit and Kookers Comedy Club. After graduating high school in 2002, she relocated to Manhattan, New York, where she began studying acting at HB Studio. Later, she began working for Avis Wagner Productions and other agents in the Los Angeles area. Acting Miranda Rae Mayo made her professional acting debut with roles in Off-Broadway shows and in commercials for such brands as Audi, Coca-Cola, Pepsico, and Sprint. She would later make her way back to Los Angeles where she starred in Hollywood film production "American Limo" and in Kevin Smith's directorial film, Red State.
In 2003, she landed the title role of Addison Milligan in the Disney Channel Original Movie 'Camp Rock'. After a string of roles in television and films, her performance in Disney Channel's 'The Suite Life of Zack & Cody' in 2008, as Bridget, catapulted her to widespread fame. With her graduation from Beverly Hills High School and graduation from the University of Southern California, Mayo co-wrote, produced, and starred in a feature film titled 'Imaginary Mary'. Her second novel, 'The Heroine Diaries' was a New York Times bestseller. Mayo is currently shooting the film adaptation of 'The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer', a YA novel published by Knopf Doubleday.
